The purpose of lion taming is not just to survive. Lion tamers and lions work together to achieve something that neither could achieve alone. Working successfully with Leaders, Bosses, and Other Tough Customers proves that imagination is still the fastest path to learning. Lions are the people we encounter and work with in every organization or business who wield power and influence. They roam freely across all occupations. By applying the metaphor of being a lion tamer, a person will learn how to understand these lions and to team with them for effective and rewarding results.
•Lions are never tame – you can learn to work with them, but you cannot change them
•Watch your back – always keep a lion where you can see it and where it can see you.
•A lion needs to roar – don’t let its scariness stop you from listening to what its trying to say.
